WE'RE OPEN (for emergencies)
On March 16th, the American Dental Association put out a release asking for the postponing of all elective treatment and this has many doctors closing their doors for good. It's important to notice in that same release their urge to stay open for emergency treatment.
"Concentrating on emergency dental care will allow us to care for our emergency patients and alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments."
- American Dental Association
Now is the time when we decide how we are responding to this crisis, and how you are framing it to your patients. Are you CLOSED except for emergency treatment or are you OPEN for emergency treatment? Mindset is going to be everything for the next couple of weeks. Make sure you’re communicating the right things to your community during this time.
In order to communicate to your patients that you are remaining OPEN for emergency treatment, feel free to download any of the following graphics for social media. Our copywriter put together a sample caption for your post that you are welcome to use (and modify as necessary).
CAPTION TEXT
If you need emergency dental care, please don’t go to the Emergency Room. To best serve our community during these difficult times, we remain open to treat dental emergencies. If you or someone you know needs emergency dental care, please have them contact us. We’re all in this together and we stand ready to serve.
