Build on the foundation of an existing website by refining and improving ongoing SEO efforts: strengthening engagement, attracting new patients, and increasing appointment-driven actions without introducing unnecessary disruption.

Studio EightyEight launched a new website for Oral Implants & Reconstructive Dentistry in June 2023, creating a solid foundation for organic search visibility in a highly competitive specialty space. Following launch, the site performed well, with steady gains in traffic and engagement as patients began discovering OIRD’s services online.
As the site moved into its second year, organic search performance naturally stabilized. There were no red flags or sudden drops, just a clear signal that the initial wave of growth had run its course.
With a year's worth of data to learn from, Studio EightyEight treated this as an opportunity to mature OIRD's content strategy. In late 2024, we took a step back to reassess our own SEO work, identifying where clarity could be improved, where content could be sharpened, and where small sources of friction were limiting continued momentum.
The goal of this phase wasn’t to change direction or undo what had already been built. It was to strengthen an existing SEO foundation so it could continue supporting patient discovery over the long term.
For OIRD, that meant making their expertise in high-value, high-consideration services — especially dental implants — more immediately clear to prospective patients. The site needed to do a better job guiding visitors from initial research to confident next steps without overwhelming them. We also needed to refine some SEO best practices that had already become outdated.
Ultimately, the objective was to extend the site’s longevity by improving clarity, relevance, and overall experience, allowing for organic growth to continue on prior success, rather than starting from scratch.

Studio EightyEight began by reviewing existing content through the lens of patient decision-making. Rather than asking what to add, we focused on what could be clarified, consolidated, or improved.
Pages with strong potential were refined to better reflect how patients research complex treatments, while overlapping or outdated content was combined to reduce noise. This allowed key implant-related pages to carry more weight and present information in a way that felt focused, credible, and easy to navigate.
Alongside content updates, we addressed a number of technical items that quietly influence performance over time. Crawlability and indexing issues were resolved, metadata was cleaned up, and small structural barriers were removed. These adjustments didn’t change how the site looked to users, but they ensured that search engines could more accurately interpret and surface the improved content, which ultimately supported steadier, more reliable visibility going forward.
(Google Analytics 4 | Year-over-Year Comparison)
Over the year-long comparison period, Oral Implants & Reconstructive Dentistry saw renewed momentum across core performance indicators:
increase in organic sessions, reflecting stronger discovery through search
increase in new users, indicating expanded reach to new prospective patients
increase in average session duration, signaling more relevant and engaging page experiences
increase in leads from organic traffic, including phone calls and form submissions
These results showed a clear shift in traffic quality: more visitors were spending time on the site and taking action as they evaluated specialized dental care options.
This phase of work focused on tightening what already existed rather than starting over. By improving clarity, removing friction, and sharpening how OIRD’s expertise is communicated, the site was able to resume forward momentum without disruption.
The result was steady, measurable growth driven by potential patients who were actively researching specialty care.
